Augusta Swift is a Naturopathic Doctor with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. Born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming, Dr. Swift attended Dartmouth College and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Pre-Medicine and Studio Art and Art History. She was a member of the varsity Alpine Ski Team and earned both Academic and Athletic All-American status during her college career. Her participation in athletics helped foster her love of using proper nutrition, exercise, and the body’s ability to heal naturally to maintain good health.
Dr. Swift attended the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and earned her degree as a Naturopathic Physician. In her practice, Dr. Swift focuses on the overall health of her patients by establishing balance to all of the body’s functions, rather than treating only individual symptoms or a single disease. As a primary care physician, she specializes in the life transitions of women such as prenatal support, fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, menopause, and end of life support. She also treats infants, children, and men so that the whole family has health and wellness plans that rely on a positive lifestyle.
Her methods help patients maintain hormonal balance, negate digestive disorders, and reduce chronic pain and neurologic disorders. Dr. Swift believes that a whole health plan integrating clinical nutrition, physical manipulation, homeopathic medicines, and exercise as wells as soft tissue, visceral work, and craniosacral therapy will provide a patient with a whole body plan that ultimately leads to optimal health and wellness.
When she is not working, Dr. Swift loves spending time with her husband and three children, being outdoors, kiteboarding, skiing, mountain biking, and practicing yoga. She is also an accomplished amateur photographer and is learning to play the guitar.
